Mechanical filtration is effected with a variety of foam structures. Subsequently, there is also a natural filtration by microbacterial helpers. Useful extras such as dirt and temperature indicators are incorporated into the lid.

The multi-chamber system guarantees a simple cleaning process. The microorganisms ensure self-cleaning of the filter material. Manual cleaning is very rarely required.
